»Niederrheinische Formenfabrik Gerh. Janssen & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG« is a family-owned manufacturer based in the Lower Rhine region of Krefeld since 1872. We produce high-quality pastry molding machines that structure and shape shortcrust pastries and efficiently process marzipan, Lebkuchen and Printen gingerbread doughs – all in keeping with our motto: »JANSSEN – shaping pleasure just the way you like«



Products and services

Janssen pastry molding machines are specially designed for efficient processing of shortcrust pastries, such as shortbreads, fine shortcakes, Spekulatius or pies. But they are also used to produce gingerbreads and Printen (traditional German Christmas gingerbread cookies) or to shape marzipan. Our customers draw from this wide range of dough varieties when using our pastry molding machines to create delicious products, which can be refined and enriched with select regional ingredients. In addition, Janssen machines enable you to produce at full capacity all year round by utilizing endless dough strips and diamond grid pastry patterns, pastries, and tartlets.

Janssen machines are built in different sizes that are designed to accommodate various standard baking tray widths – this for example enables our model K 250 machines to utilize 250 mm wide baking trays and our model K 580 machines to employ norm-sized trays with dimensions of 400 mm x 600 mm or 580 mm x 780 mm.
